The most
beautiful setting for your ceremonies: Amalfi and Amalfi
Coast
Getting married is one of the
most important decisions in a person's life and choosing
the way is not an easy task. Choosing the right place for
your weeding is crucial and you cannot make any mistakes.
Living your wedding day in the right place means having the
possibility to enjoy this great day in the best way. If you
have the wedding you have always dreamt of, you will never
forget it. Photos are one of the best ways to keep memories:
this is why it is also important to find the best photographer
for the occasion. You can choose Amalfi: an internationally
known tourist town thanks to its natural beauties and its
mild climate.
The town is made of white houses
on the rocks, with narrow streets and staircases, and it
is situated in the valley of Canneto River. The solar and
wonderful nature creates a magic atmosphere. Amalfi photographers
are very skilled and they know how to catch this magic and
charming atmosphere for your photos. This is why Amalfi is
the ideal setting for your ceremonies and especially for
your wedding: for example you will have the possibility to
get married in the great Cathedral. The Cathedral dedicated
to Saint Andrew, the patron, is a great jewel with a long
staircase made of 57 steps and a polychrome façade.
The bronze portal was made in Constantinople in XI century.
Having your wedding in the cathedral means also having wonderful
photos in a wonderful setting: Amalfi Coast and Amalfi photographers
are great and will provide you the most unforgettable memories
of the ceremony thanks to their photos.
If you decide to have your wedding
in Amalfi (but also any other ceremonies) you won't have
any problems; you will find everything you need: beautiful
landscapes and a wonderful church; elegant (but also cheaper)
restaurants, hotels and villas and great catering services
(people are friendly but extremely professional); agencies
that will solve any problems concerning documents, authorizations;
the best photographers you can dream of, and everything you
will need. You can also buy your dresses here, ever the wedding
dress.
If you choose to celebrate your
wedding in Amalfi you will make a smart choice and you will
surely be happy. Family and friends receiving your invitations
will be happy, too. Amalfi is the pearl of Amalfi Coast ,
one of its thirteen jewels: Vietri sul mare, Cetara, Maiori,
Minori, Ravello, Scala, Praiano, Atrani, Positano, Amalfi,
Conca dei Marini, Furore and Tramonti. If you get married
in Amalfi you will have the possibility to visit the near
beauties: Salerno , Capri and Ischia, Naples , Paestum and
its beautiful temples, Velia and its archaeological area,
Pompeii and its incredible excavations, the beautiful Cilento
Coast .
You can also decide to spend
your honeymoon in Amalfi because you will have many possibilities
and many incredible places to visit. In Amalfi (and on Amalfi
Coast ) you will surely find everything you need because
people are well organized: facilities such as hotels, restaurants,
catering services are well equipped and you will find elegant
or cheap accommodations; management is nice and friendly
but professional.
Gastronomy is tasteful: the king
of cookery is fish. Fish-based recipes are delicious and
desserts are even more delicious thanks to their main ingredient,
lemon. In fact lemons are mostly sweet; they can also be
eaten in slices, as a dessert, with or without sugar. The
peel is thick and tender and very odorous. Lemons are used
for cakes (for example "delizia al limone") and to make "limoncello",
a traditional yellow liqueur famous all over the world that
is the perfect way to end a great lunch or dinner. Wines
are great, too. Vineyards are a very important resource;
wine produced on the coast has the DOC mark (denomination
of controlled origin), the most famous wines are Ravello,
Gran Caruso, Episcopio, Ariston, and Malaga.
If you decide to celebrate your wedding at
the end of November you will surely enjoy the beautiful feast
dedicated to the patron: Saint Andrew (30th November). In
this day there is the miracle of the patron. A liquid goes
out from his tomb: it's called "manna". A legend tells that
Saint Andrew saved the town from Red Beard's attack on the
27 th of June, 1544. The Saint provoked a terrible storm
and Red Beard 's ships could not land. Each year in this
date the statue of the Saint is taken in a procession by
white-dressed men. The procession arrives to the beach then
it goes back to the cathedral where fishermen leave offerings
to the Saint (fresh fish). In the evening then there are
wonderful fireworks. |
